HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Where It All Began
Adding Some Kolor started in 2020, when I was looking for a creative outlet and began doodling on my iPad. What started as a simple way to create eventually turned into something much bigger — those digital doodles made their way onto canvas and into the world of texture art.
Then something unexpected happened: my work went viral on social media.
People were fascinated by the texture, the process, and the idea that they could create it themselves. What began as a personal creative outlet quickly grew into a community of people who wanted to get their hands messy and make something of their own.

For the next four years, my husband and I traveled around the country, creating texture art wherever we went. Art became a huge part of our life on the road.
But there was always one thing missing: a space of my own to create in.
I’m so excited to finally open the doors to Adding Some Kolor Studio — a dedicated space where I can create, experiment, and share everything I’ve learned along the way.
And now, I’m opening that space up to you, too.
Outside of the studio, I’m a mom to a little girl, and when I’m not creating, you’ll probably find me surfing, hiking with my dog and husband, or finding another excuse to be outside.
I’m so happy you’re here — and I can’t wait to see what you create.
Get your hands messy and discover how therapeutic (and fun!) textured art can be.
Join me in the studio for a workshop and create something that’s uniquely yours.
